We started the way most good ideas do — on the golf course.
A few mates, a great day out at an unfamiliar track, and the realisation that playing new courses with good people is one of life's simple pleasures. That spark grew into Social Swingers — a community built around the idea that golf is always better when you share it.
Who We Are
Social Swingers is an Australian travelling golf community open to players of all levels and backgrounds. We're not a stuffy club with a long waiting list and a dress code manual. We're a relaxed, welcoming group of golf enthusiasts who love to explore this incredible country one fairway at a time.
Our members range from single-digit handicappers to social players who are just happy to be out in the fresh air. What unites us isn't skill — it's a love of the game, a sense of adventure, and an appreciation for the people you share a cart with.
What We Do
We organise regular golf trips to courses across Australia — from well-known classics to hidden local favourites that rarely make the highlight reels. Each trip is thoughtfully planned so you don't have to worry about the logistics. We sort the tee times, coordinate the travel arrangements, and make sure there's always somewhere good to eat and drink afterwards.
Beyond the trips themselves, we're a social network for golfers. A place to connect, swap course reviews, share tips, and find your next playing partner — whether you're heading interstate or just looking for a weekend game closer to home.
Our Philosophy
Golf can sometimes take itself a little too seriously. We don't. We believe the best round is one where everyone has a good time, regardless of the scorecard. We celebrate the great shots, laugh off the bad ones, and make sure every trip feels like a proper adventure — not just a round of golf.
We're proud to travel all over this vast, beautiful country and introduce our members to courses they might never have discovered on their own. Australia has some of the finest golf on the planet, and we think more people should get out there and play it.
